Our new mental health project is offering young women aged 16-25 the opportunity to access 1:1 mental health support and group sessions focussing on their wellbeing. We currently have two drop ins running weekly, from our Community Hub in South Shields and at South Tyneside College.

The aim of this support is to help young women to better understand their emotions, to take control of their situation and feel more confident. Through this support we will create opportunities for young women to feel cared for, listened too, believed and validated, and ongoing access will be provided to further programmes delivered by both Bright Futures and other community partnerships relevant to their needs and interests, so they can build positive social connections with others.
